Summer Field Pottery produces unique pieces that are practical, yet fascinating and beautiful.  They are meant to be handled and as they are used the tactile quality will be appreciated.

All of our glazes are lead free and are safe and usable in the microwave and oven.

The entire process takes approximately 2 1/2 to 3 weeks, including building or throwing the piece, tooling it and drying it before it is fired in an electric kiln. Then it is cleaned, decorated, glazed and fired a second time to stoneware temperatures.
